mix tape artists' cards
The Mix Tape Project is now winging its way to Maryland. It will still visit Canada, Japan and Kuwait before going back to Brown Paper Bunny's Jessica Mack in Australia. The last things I can share with you from the project are the illustrated cards from each artist, tucked in the book's back pocket. Enjoy!

Thank you, dear readers, for the many comments about these cards sent to me via twitter & email. I learned many new names for 'hummingbird' through your letters: honeyeater, joyas voladores (flying jewels) and beija flor (flower kisser)! If anyone knows any other hummingbird monikers, I'd love to know them. Wishing you all a happy and creative day.
